The Webby Awards announced their picks for this year’s best of the web and selections do not disappoint. I was pleased to see that some of my personal favorites made the cut: wired.com in the Copywriting category, urbandaddy.com in Lifestyle, NPR in Podcasts and thehuffingtonpost.com in Politics. Best part: The Webbys want to hear about your 2008 favorites, so go vote!
Extra kudos to the Webbys for their brilliant tradition of budgeting winners when giving acceptance speeches to a maximum of 5 words – I’d highly recommend checking those from past ceremonies out – there’s some pretty clever stuff!
