In the survey, physicians said they would most like to use their mobile device for the following functions:
- Reviewing and updating patient charts
- Ordering prescriptions
- Documenting a patient encounter
- Performing out-of-office activities
According to the responses, accessing an EHR from a mobile device is a win for everyone. Physicians can easily prepare for their patients ahead of time from anywhere, and patients can be treated more quickly.
