Wax received five awards at the 2009 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. One was a Grand Award – the highest honor at the program – for Barnett Shale, a custom publication Wax produced for Chesapeake Energy.
The APEX Awards is an annual competition for writers, editors, publications staff and communicators. Nearly 4,000 entries were submitted for consideration, and only 100 Grand Awards were awarded.
