Wax took home a big ol’ bag of awards in the healthcare division at the 18th Annual National Mature Media Awards Program for clients like AvMed Health Plans, Humana Inc., and CarePlus Health Plans Inc. – Humana alone took home six awards, two of which were a gold and silver.
This award series, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market, recognizes the nation’s finest advertising, marketing and educational materials designed and produced for older adults.
The following publications earned awards for excellence:
- Humana’s HAO, Summer 08, earned a Gold in the Newsletter category
- Humana’s Live it Up! member calendar earned a Silver in the Calendar category
- Humana took home Bronze awards for HAO (Fall 08 issue), Live It Up! (August 08 issue), and Live It Up! (November 08 issue) in various publication categories
- Humana’s HAO’s 2009 Special Edition issue earned a Merit award as did CarePlus’ Today magazine and AvMed’s AvMed magazine
